I created a nym in OM:

ModNym > Test the selected nym account

gets,

"OmniMix Configurator: Nym message transmission completed without problems."

In User tab > Nym = Nyms checked
In User tab > OmniMix = Nyms checked

But messages to nymserver not being picked up by Thunderbird from AAM?

You create a nym account by sending an account creation request to the
nym server with ModNym / "Create the selected nym account". Your
account is finally activated after replying to the confirmation request
you then get from the nym server.

Is Hamster downloading a.a.m messages again and again to keep its local
repository up to date? That's from where your nym replies are extracted
during your mail client's POP3 downloads.
