Just saw an "Apple Rumours" piece in The Verge dated last week.

https://www.theverge.com/2023/3/5/23625972/apple-new-imac-launch-m3-chip

Which indicates a possible M3 iMac in June(ish).

Will still be 24" per the article. I can live with that. I have a nice
Samsung 27" I can use to spread out "secondary" stuff (Mail, Notes,
Calendar, Messages ... etc.) - or a couple smaller (21") screens that I
could put on each side...

This iMac (late 2012 i7) can then face easy retirement as a file server
or something - or relegate it to Raspberry Pi hobby project development.
Or something.
