Hi all,

I know this is likey a long shot, but here goes.

Back in the late 80's I purchased a BBS package for my old BBC Micro
(that my parents dumped along with all my disks after I moved from the
UK to the US). I paid 50 quid for it and the guy who sold it came to my
house with the discs and got it up and running. I seem to remember he
was driving an old VW Beatle or something like that.

This wasn't your OBBS, NBBS, or something like that. It worked in both
Viewdata and 8N1 terminal modes. Unfortunately I remember neither the
name of the software, the company or person who installed it.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd love to try and get a copy of
the software (since I did pay for it!) but I feel that I may be totally
out luck.

Thanks,
Nigel

I did have a quick look but didn't see anything of use. Seemed to be
mostly RISC related. I'll have a deeper dive when I have more time.

Thanks,
Nigel

Have you asked on the *.forum, the stardot forum, the source of all 8-bit
knowledge?

I thought I had some time ago, but appears not. I'll drop a post on
there and see if anything shakes from the tree.

Thanks for the suggestion.
