One of the useful features of the iData Pro database was a phone dialer. I used this feature for phone dialing via a USR modem. The latest version of iData, v 5.1.01, has no phone dialer feature. Does anyone know of a Mac app that has a phone dialer-via-modem feature? Thanks. Mel

AFAIK, a dialer function would require a serial modem attached to your system.
I don't know if the USB serial driver was ported to 64-bit. I know that's why
AppleTalk stopped working.

Do you have a USB-Serial port dongle? Can you send text to it the terminal?
