Dragon probably has an accurate answer to that with the IPTIA database- a cursory look at the Synchronet BBS list shows 20+ new ones since the beggining of the year - the vast majority of those on the list are 3.18 or higher. If they were setup and letting them rot, I'd expect them not to keep up with the latest version.

Reguardless, good for their little poll, I just don't agree with it objectively :)

also bbses come and go. like bbses will disappear right after being on a list.
and there's bbses that arent on any lists.

so who really knows.
