I sent an Amazon URL, that was shortened using TinyURL, to three
different Android phones, using email. Emails were received, but when
touching the TinyURL link, all three phones (different browsers) received
"403 forbidden".

If the Amazon link was sent as-is, again via email, unshortened, to the
phones, the link worked fine.

Also,any pc that received the same email and TinyURL link was taken to
the Amazon URL, no problem.

I tried sending another TinyURL shortened link of a newspaper article to
all three phones, and the link worked fine.

Summary:
Amazon links shortened by TinyURL and then sent by email to a phone,
receive a "403 forbidden". When received by a pc, the link works fine.
Non-Amazon shortened links work fine on both phones and pcs.

Anyone else experience this with any shortened URL?

Why use a URL shortener, why not just chop all the SEO shit out leaving
just the ASIN? e.g

<https://www.amazon.co.uk/Huawei-MediaPad-Tablet-Grey-IPS-Display/dp/B072PTK61S/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2YZNHVUH6LGH8&dchild=1&keywords=android+tablets+10+inch&qid=1622357906&refinements=p_89%3AHUAWEI&rnid=1632651031&s=computers&sprefix=android+ta%2Caps%2C173&sr=1-1>

becomes

<https://amazon.co.uk/dp/B072PTK61S>

Keep or replace some part of the description, if you prefer

<https://amazon.co.uk/huawei-tablet/dp/B072PTK61S>

I knew about doing:

<https://www.amazon.co.uk/Huawei-MediaPad-Tablet-Grey-IPS-Display/dp/B072PTK61S>

but your method is much better.
