The battery charge indicator at top right is too small to see.
And I have a loose charge port which sometimes doesn't work.

Digging into Android settings is too much work.
Besides those settings don't stay on the screen after it blanks out.
I have to punch buttons & start over again just to check charge.

I want something easier to see and easier to check over time.

What's a good battery charge indicator that does these things?
Readable indicator of charge status (charging or not charging)
Readable indicator of charge level (percentage)
Stays on the screen (or easily shows when screen is awoken)

I'm currently testing these four but maybe you found a good one already?

Thanks for the suggestion of Ampere as I realized there's another
requirement which is the charge status must be real time.

Some of the apps I tested showed only the charge status at the running of
the app but they didn't update if the cord fell out of my loose plug.

There were multiple charge status apps with Ampere in the name and some of
which are just named "Ampere" in both the Google Play & app icon lists.

Dunno. I have a Pixel 3 which shows the charging state at the bottom of the
always-on screen when I'm not logged in and charging, either wired or
wireless, and shows the charging progress and an estimate of how long it
will take to reach 100%. No app required. I never found any need for more.
