There is Usenet Google Group flooded with hateful spam
from usenet servers, made of full headers of messages from the past
and a single word "idiot" is added

Google lost interest in moderation

So what is moderation, reporting standard at

can I report a message publishing full headers of my previous post, my email address exposed to scams, spammers to be removed ?

Your message headers are already online. Someone posting them in a message doesn't add more info to Usenet than is already there.

If you want to complain about a message posted from www.novabbs.com, supply the Message-ID and your concerns. If it was posted elsewhere, contact the admin of that site.

I think that the crux of the problem is that Darius doesn't understand how
Usenet works -- all he is familiar with is that bastardized offshoot that
was run by Google, i.e. Google Groups. He reminds me of nothing so much as
some of those clueless AOL users back in the day, when AOL decided that
adding Usenet to its' services was a good idea.

Naturally, that unleashed a veritable flood of people who complained about
the content of various NGs that they objected to. Some of them actually went
so far as to state they were going to contact AOL management to have this
'room' closed. This individual strikes me as being very much the same.

His comments about being "in talks" with Google, and arranging to have Google
Groups reinstated for another 5-10 years strike me as delusional; I think he
needs to take his medication.

Anyone who has been on Usenet for any length of time (as opposed to Google
Groups) already knows this (or should).
