That's a good point -- his "Date:" header is a mistruth. But is it
intentional? Without intention, it's a mistake. With intention,
it's a lie.

It certainly disrupts the newsgroup for those who read in
historical order: because his posts float to the top, and one
ends up reading replies before reading his articles.

I don't use Windows, or I'd post instructions for re-syncing time.
Anyone want to try to help him out? (It will probably take patience,
because Jerry is probably disabled.)

That you cannot learn does not mean others are so limited. I've
continued my education in computers. For fun, I got my A+, Network+,
and Cisco certs from 1993 to 1995. Also for fun I got my CySA+ last
year.
I didn't need them, of course. But some of us are able to learn,
and enjoy doing so. It really is a pity that your profound learning
disability will prevent you from ever experiencing this.
I'm not as active in computers as I was, however. But as you have
helped me PROVE, more times than I am willing to count, I still know
far more than you. I realize given your extreme lack of knowledge,
this isn't saying much.
How will you divert from the TRUTH I posted above? Or will you

Usenet. And it was ONE time.
To further solidify that he really does NEED to lie, Jenny
demanded a rule about minimum system requirements for reading and
posting.
I'm *almost* tempted to find an old Windows 3.1 machine and use
it to post. But I would have to spend money on proving Jenny the
mentally ill, pathological liar he is. And since he proves this for
free, the motivation just isn't quite there.

Continuing education is a concept Jenny can't wrap his mind
around. He appears to think that once someone gets through high
school, they need nothing more.
Jenny's profound learning disability aside, I'm no longer active
in IT. But I do keep up-to-date. Last year I got my CySA+
certification. It doesn't have much benefit for me, but that's not an
issue. I got it simply because of the love of learning and having
something I can point to as a means of showing I learned.

Without using OE, we can't even guess what he screwed up in the
settings. Only Jenny knows what he changed. And since correcting the
change will require honesty on Jenny's part, well, it will never
happen.
