Is it for running Mixmaster as a part of the public remailer network
or exclusively to send your own mail messages anonymously?

Thanks for your input. I recommended mix-3.1.0.msvc6.zip to the OP
because I thought that this file was the only Christman version that
supported 4096-bit keys. I realized after reading your post that
4096-bit keys are *also* supported in the earlier version
mix-3.0.3a.msvc6.zip

If the former works better than the later than obviously OP should use
the later.

Both versions are obviously imperfect. They are 10 year old pre-compiled
binaries. But that's where we stand in 2024 since Mixmaster code is
unmaintained and no longer compiles successfully under modern OSes.

Thank you! This solved my problem. I would always have to send twice.
The first attempt would fail, second succeed unless sending multiple
posts, then some would randomly failed. Running Windows 8 64 bit, QS
127.
