When you say "Eudora foder" (folder), WHICH directory are you referring
to?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\Eudora
... which is also where the vcredist.exe is located in my version as a
safety. Did you read the README.TXT file that comes with that ZIP file for
the instructions?

and NOT

C:\Users\Wulfraed\AppData\Roaming\Qualcomm
... though based upon dates, the usercerts.p7b file was updated at the
same time as the files in the previous location.

Hey friend, thanis so much for your help, but I have to tell you I
have solved my problem.
My problem was wit yahoo passwords. I went into yahoo web site and I
changed the passwords and not eerything works fine.

The trick to installing Eudora on Win10 is, to put it into its own folder in the root directory instead of program files. C:\\Eudora
Run setup as administrator.
Win10 will want to put email files and attachments in its user directories, so you have to find them and move them to the C:\\Eudora folder, and I think you need to edit the eudora.ini file to point to the moved directories.

I do not recall all the details, I found the instructions online but it was a year or two ago.

And none of that is needed... I've run Eudora on Win10 since my Win7
drive failed and I had to buy Win10 and a new drive to recover.

The ONLY trick is that you have to use Windows "default programs" to
set Eudora as the email client, AND you have to turn off any option inside
of Eudora that attempts to check and set itself as default. Reason: Win10
(and likely Win7) moved the registry entry that defines default programs --
Eudora is still trying to write to the old location, which is not used by
the OS..

From my shortcut properties:
TARGET: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\Eudora\Eudora.exe"
START IN: <blanked out, no content>

The shortcut was created in December 2016 (just shy of five years ago),
and modified July 2017 (probably to blank out START IN).
