Are there plans to provide a mawk package? Yes, I know there's gawk. But it
has doesn't work the same as mawk. I use it a lot, specifically "random ()".

FWIW, I grabbed it, it installed under 15.3 without complaint and appears to be
working. At least as far as my simple needs are.

As an aside:
When I try to use Firefox, under both 15.1 and 15.3, and go to the site:
https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/users@lists.opensuse.org/
Which used to work, now I get:
"Server error
An error occurred while processing your request."
This started a few days ago.

Database server (postgres service) crashed a few days ago, was
restarted, and again apparently crashed on friday night. If you want to
see what is going on, use IRC on irc.libera.chat (not freenode anymore).
As my machine has been switched off many hours yesterday till today, I
don't know what activity has been going on meanwhile. And it is a weekend.
