Back in the day (2018 thru 2019) I had Walter Banks helping me with
various aspects of my Inspire ISA design, including some preliminary
work on an emulator.

He passed in December 2019, and I haven't had anyone to assist or
mentor me since then.

I have continued work on my emulator from time to time and I'm posting
today to ask if there are any Christians on this group who would like
to start on a new ecosystem? One where we create a new hardware
architecture based on Inspire, create a new OS, and then create a full
ecosystem built around it.

You don't have to be Christian to use it, but I would like Christians
to help develop and guide it.

If you're on this group and you're typically silent, please contact me
privately if you prefer. I'd like to let the light of Christ shine
through us into these areas here in this world.

1) Inspire Emulator
2) Thin bootable AMD64 wrapper supporting the Inspire Emulator
3) A custom OS written in Inpsire so we can port it to any hardware
4) An app ecosystem. Games. Office. Business. Utilities. And a
C/C++/Java developer platform to let others port their wares.

Jun.30.2021 update.

The VM is framed. The VM's hardware debugger is framed. The Inspire
ISA assembler is framed (handles lexing and macro expansion). I'm
working on the assembler and disassembler in parallel. I have an IDE
I've built which has source code, assembly, the register environment,
support for viewing its two SMT states (main and love), as well as an
ad hoc query window (? r2+r3, etc), and a VM output window / journal.

I've coded the text editor that's in use (I call it SEM). The VM IDE
is currently unnamed (I just call it IVM for Inspire VM). It will
have popout windows for stack, memory, watch, breakpoints, etc.

Once I get the assembler working I'll begin working on the BIOS code.
Once BIOS is sufficiently developed, I'll begin working on the OS code
in parallel.
