Hi Alan,

Yes, it's definitely possible to run Synchronet as a point system. In fact, many users have set up their BBS in this way.

To do this, you will need to set up a Synchronet BBS instance on your local machine (or server) and configure it to act as a node/point. You'll also need to make sure that your node is connected to a hub or another BBS that acts as the hub.

There are several resources available online that can help you with the setup process. I recommend checking out the Synchronet Documentation Wiki for more information on how to set up Synchronet as a point system.
