I believe: There are plenty of well-connected and very intelligent people, both of the sort I would like (in non-math/CS fields) and of the sort I dislike, in "elite academic circles."

You might want to consider: When something goes wrong, and you are sitting there screaming, "Noooo! Why?? What have I done to deserve this?????? Tell me! I won't say sorry, I will say only 'YBROS?!?!?!' (it's a code)."

I am the sort of person who will and would TELL YOU LOTS OF THINGS AND ALSO TELL YOU WHAT I WOULD NOT TELL YOU. I have simple, easily-met demands, and yet the bozos who could really use my help won't give me the time of day.

That is why you are suffering and failing at so much that you want to do. Yes, yes, keep going--go "blow Joe [Biden]" some more, and see where it gets you.

There is a simple antidote to this: BE FAIR. I don't mean "1/3 fair," I mean "100% fair." Notify others clearly when you think they may be being unfair, and then either a) engage in a dialog until a/no good resolution can be reached, or b) just try to satisfy the person. In case a, you might just present a (clear, true, and non-fake) REASON why you refuse to accept another person's demands.

I have thought about what I've written above as it could be applied to me. I get that lots of people despise me and won't tell me things. I know it. I think I'm good at knowing who really likes and doesn't like me, and to some extent, the extent to which I may be valued/liked or not.

The reasons this works out for me, in spite of all the setbacks I've faced, are:

- I get one of my big ideas: "logic eludes the unfair." (Remember how important logic is to debating and science.) When I pursue logical thinking, which I am excellent at, I feel compelled to be fair. I am perceptive and analytical enough in the right way to see how that works. I am keenly aware that: "If a person X learns to be logical (and perceptive) about a situation Y, then X will VERY QUICKLY START BEING FAIR ABOUT SITUATION Y."
- I don't lie. There is no reason to. If the Emperor of Mars appeared to me tomorrow and seduced me as a friend with charm and offered me everything I have ever wanted, all in exchange for a few favors of damaging my own integrity by lying to his enemies in the foxiest possible way, I would still say NO. That is because being unfair, even to my extreme adversaries, buys me nothing and could really damage me. Even the military killing a bad guy in a war must be done fairly, when it must be done at all. VIOLATING FAIRNESS IS THE DUMBEST THING YOU CAN DO. Your little "James Bond ethical compromises for the greater good" are some of the dumbest political "ideology" failures I have ever seen in my life. THINK. The "coalition of the fair and logical" is the greatest invisible organization that the world has ever known. Its members do not know who all of the other members are, and it doesn't matter. Being an unfair evildoer who breaks the rules of fairness is one of the dumbest things that anyone can ever do, and economics can help to explain this.
- I am willing to talk with almost anyone who hasn't greatly hurt me. This helps me to engage in discussions and debates. Literally almost no one in the world could say, "Hey, I wanted to talk to Philip White about a big disagreement...BUT HE WOULDN'T EVEN SPEAK TO ME!" That helps my fairness points. No one can say, "Philip wouldn't debate things with me or address my concerns, so although I'm right, I can't prove it and it's all Philip's fault." That openness to conversation/discussion is one of my greatest and most underrated strengths that no one understands. I am unemployed and disliked now, but how long do you think that is going to last??

A couple more comments about LETU:

- It is easy to be fair to everyone, including your adversaries and those you despise.
- It is very frequently INFURIATING to be unfair, for entertainment purposes or any reason, to anyone.
> It is infuriating to the victim of the unfairness.
> It is infuriating to ideological fairness fans, who believe in fairness, integrity, and ethics, because they are important, pro-social values.
- It is wise and frequently done for fair people to avoid unfair people like the plague.
- This results in "large and friendly enough continents of fair-minded people" and "vicious, un-principled, and warring islands of unfair people."
> It might not be surprising to note that aside from a few casualties, the "land of the fair-minded" is very much more prosperous and competitive than the "islands of the unfair."

Contemplate these ideas! Your failure to understand them has been literally killing your rights and maybe even some people that you like.

Learn to be fair or keep paying the price. It is simple, and I can explain it even more to those who don't get it.

Next time, all bashful bozo Biden blowers should really listen to me the first time, before it's too late.

And no, I am not anti-LGBTQ--there's nothing wrong with being a man's male boyfriend according to me, unless your boyfriend is evil like JRB. And yes, alliteration is fine and allowed...I am not "being a movie character" at this time.

One last comment for now, before I get to work:

"In fairness, I have the freedom and power to be unfair! Woo! I'm a partial American!"

The right rebuttal to this is:

"Yes, and you also have the freedom and power, in a sense, to make a big salary and never pay taxes. That's a terrible idea that quietly infuriates tons of people, too."

This is the proof that even if you are very uncaring and ideologically an extremist, you can see the power of ALWAYS being fair to EVERYONE, and the fact that this is in your interests. Indeed, the Dick-Cheney pro-human-sacrifices and "collateral damage" ideology is completely defective and inadequate.

Following US law and being fair is very easy, whereas opting for the illegal hunt for prey or the advocacy for tolerance of such predatory behavior is among the dumbest and mostly costly choices you can ever make.
