I'm still working on the purchase plan here, David. The price is higher than I assumed -- reasonable for supported commercial hardware but heading toward $1K once I add video, storage, etc. Three months ago I would have pulled the trigger anyway, but there are economic changes and I need to think and get spouse signoff before going down this road

For the level of support and professionalism you provide, especially for an enterprise still depending on this hardware, it's a reasonable price. For retrocomputing research it's the same price as a high-end laptop with lower performance by far, so it's not an impulse-purchase buy...
