I know you have actively tried to fix this over the years.

Are you able to give an update on where things currently stand ?

Thanks,

Simon.

In the fall of 2017, I tried to work with Dave Carroll.

Back then, VSI was engaged in talks with HPE regarding some layered products whose rights had not been transferred
to VSI back in 2014. I thought that would be a good time to sort out the PDP-11 issue.

The first thing I was trying to do was find out exactly what software Dave had, so we could approach HPE with
a list.

After some initial dialogue, where Dave seemed interested in sorting this out, he went silent.

Yeah. As you might remember, I was the third party in those talks.
Unfortunately, Dave not only went silent with you, he went silent with
me and pretty much everyone else as well. And I have not been able to
reach him since, and this have become a current blocking point. Without
Dave we can't get anything else happening either.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts, Robert. If I ever manage to get Dave
online again, I will ping you.

Johnny

Thank you for the update Rob and thanks for trying to sort this out.

Thanks to Johnny as well for his efforts.
