Hi,

My motivation for trying "Smart Switch" is to transfer a selected folder
from one tablet or smart phone to another, but due to a reply (previous post),
I realized that will not "work". I was hoping the folder's files would
transfer with their original Date & Time preserved.

Up until now, the only way I knew how to preserve the original D&T of
files was to remove the SD card and use my Windows 7 laptop to put
files such as Photos, etc. on the SD card.

Note: I had tried a USB cable between laptop and tablet, and using
Window's Explorer (file manager) to copy files to tablet, but the original
D&Ts changed to the D&T of transfer.

Another reply (previous post) suggested to Zip the files. I had not
used any "Zip/UnZipper" ap, but I used two different File Managers
that can extract a file/s from a Zip file. However, original D&T was replaced
with D&T of the extraction.

I just downloaded a "Zip/UnZip" app (4.6 star rating) from Google Play,
but it was unable to Unzip a zip file!!! Could it be because this Zip file
had only one (a text file) file? I un-installed it.

SOLUTION FOUND:

"My Files", a files manger that came with the tablet, I did not like
because it did NOT display the full filenames. Therefore, I downloaded 2
other Files Managers. However, "My Files" was able to extract the text file
(as a test) from the Zip file to a folder and BY GOLLY, the original D&T was
not changed.

Hey.......You rich? Would you help me out with a little bit of money (maybe at least 2100 dollars)...... I have no job momentarily...........
