Can't retrieve newsgroup list.
I'am trying to configure clows for usnet reader for aioe.org but geting
this message. There is not much to configure but i'm failing. Enybody to help?

May I suggest Seamonkey or Thunderbird, both are much better options
than Claws IMHO.

I booted a live Mint 20.2 and installed Claws 3.17.5 from the repos and
configured it for nntp.aioe.org on 119. It fetched the list and I
sub/ed to this group and I'm replying to your msg w/ it. See my
headers.

I can also telnet to aioe:

$ telnet nntp.aioe.org 119
Trying 46.165.242.75...
Connected to nntp.aioe.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
200 nntp.aioe.org InterNetNews NNRP server INN 2.6.1 ready (posting ok)
quit
205 Bye!
Connection closed by foreign host.

Or use list or group or whatever.

I use Claws as the default agent when I'm on my RPi w/ Raspbian.
