The docs include a link to this file, said it was in your login directory of the VSI FTP server. I was able to get this file around September of 2022, but now I'm trying to locate it (in case its been updated) and it is no longer present (or at least visible) from our VSI support login on the FTP server. All the ECO kits are there, but not the master list file.

Our login only opens up the v842l1inst directory; has it been moved to another versions home directory? The 2022 version included lists for both l1 and l3 releases.

ecokits directory has a version "Last Update Date: 07-Jan-2023 (RaB)" with file modification date 29-Jun-2023

Thanks, found the issue. When we log in on the account provided with the VSI support renewal it drops us into a version specific subdirectory of the site. If we move up one level where the file is supposed to be, we can't see anything; directory is forbidden. If I do a cd ..\ECOKITS (or equivalent in filezilla) then I'm in the directory with the master list. Its just not visible if you don't know its there.

I thought they had retired the sftp server and were exclusively using
the service portal.

It can't really be considered as retired if it is still accepting
service contract account logins and serving up files to customers.

Deprecated maybe, but not retired.

If they really have retired the server, I would expect them to have
switched it off so customers are forced into using the current method.

I got a response from VSI. They say the problem report has been passed
onto the people responsible for maintaining the server.

Simon, thanks. I had in fact let them know about it but just as an "I can do this", not a bug report.

The issue is I was using the temp account provided with the new updated VMS licenses, not a full support account; VSI has since provided that so we are good to go.
