More Apple lies: Apple only tells the truth in court.

The news reports say Apple _fabricated_ (their word!) M1 CPU test results!

This is another related offshoot of Apple propaganda posted this week here:
*Apple continues to lead in CPUs* (which turns out to be a brazen lie)
<https://groups.google.com/g/comp.mobile.android/c/lZ_75avMuvo>

And the proof that Apple lied about the M1 Ultra GPU performance:
*Apple lied: M1 Ultra Doesn't Beat Out Nvidia's RTX 3090 GPU Despite Apple's Charts*
<https://groups.google.com/g/comp.sys.mac.system/c/iNVHwPPBjSA>

The educated fact remains Apple has _never_ designed a best-in-class CPU.
(and no, a CPU that is so unstable Apple is _desperate_ to secretly throttle
it and then secretly backdate the release notes doesn't count as best in
anything - in fact that's clearly yet another Apple _worst_ in class CPU).

*Benchmarks Show Desktop Intel & AMD CPUs Still Ahead of M1 Ultra*
<https://wccftech.com/apple-m1-ultra-chip-is-nearly-3-times-bigger-amd-ryzen-cpus-benchmarks-show-intel-amd-cpus-still-ahead/>
"Apple M1 Ultra Chip Is Nearly 3 Times Bigger Than AMD's Ryzen CPUs"

"Just like its tall GPU performance claims, the chip maker claimed big
numbers for its newest chip against desktop options from Intel & AMD
but independent tests show that Apple is once again unable to match
those claims."

"The chip was also compared to an AMD Ryzen CPU which looks tiny compared
to the M1 Ultra. Based on the size and dimensions, the M1 Ultra is nearly
3 times the size of the AMD Ryzen chip."

"Apple claimed that their new chip offered 90% better performance
at the same power and higher performance than the 12900K while
sipping in 100 Watts lower power, the benchmarks below don't show
such performance claims."

"The M1 Ultra barely competes with the Intel Core i9-12900K and
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. It is highly likely that as with their
performance numbers, the M1 power numbers have also been fabricated."
--
Remember nobody in the world has ever independently reproduced Apple's huge
lies on battery life claims either - as Apple only tells the truth in court.

My M1 Ultra Mac Studio is running fast as hell. Never used anything
faster in my life. Ever. What a dream to use, and without annoying
obnoxious loud fans like the PC crap has.

How is this "more".

This comment sums it up well:

'You're comparing a SOC to a CPU... and the power draw for the SOC would
include GPU, RAM, CPU. So your whole premise and feedback on this
hardware is poorly contemplated.'

Whaat?!

I was genuinely thinking of buying a Macbook Pro solely because of the M1
chip because I always heard on Fireship and other channels that it was
extremely good.

But nope.

I think that what Apple was claiming, correctly, was the the M1 Ultra
performance per watt was better.

Obviously a Core i7, Core i9, or Ryzen 9, paired with a high-end GPU
from Nvidia or AMD, is going to outperform an M1 Ultra, but at
significantly higher power. If you're a gamer, or running applications
like Altium or Solidworks, on a workstation, you're not going to care
about performance per watt (besides the fact that you can't run those
apps on a Mac, even an Intel-based Mac).

I wouldn't pay much attention to what Arlen says...

He dishonestly compares the physical size of the M1 Ultra to an AMD
Ryzen 3 chip...

(All the while never mentioning that the M1 Ultra includes both RAM and
a GPU:

'But there are reasons why this chip is so huge, you see not only is the
M1 Ultra an MCM chip that fuses two M1 Max dies together but it also has
a huge 64-core GPU, all the IO & even the memory on the same package')

....while comparing the speed to a Ryzen 9.

Unfortunately, tat’s not correct. He’d change nyms, again and again and
again, and keep posting. He’s done it before. Apparently it’s the
‘adult’ thing to do when everyone ignores you.

The screaming tantrum of a spoiled toddler, "Why aren't you paying
attention to me!"

S/He/it is so pathetic, it would be sad if s/he/it wasn't constantly
shitting on the furniture.

He isn’t the worst nym-shifter that I’ve ever seen. Carl Crawford once
had 11 different nyms in 36 hours. If that’s not the record, it should be.

Carl was a creationist, in talk.origins, years back, he’s stopped posting
but is still remembered, alongside legends of creationist thought such as Ted
‘Flying Feral Chicken’ Holden and the immortal Peter ‘der Gross’
Nyklios. (Petey still posts to t.o.) Among Carl's other claims to fame were
that he:

1 located the Ark. It was perfectly preserved by being coated in lava. On the
top of a mountain which is NOT a volcano. Apparently the Ark was made of very
special wood which wouldn’t burn when exposed to molten rock.

2 found chariot wheels from Pharaoh’s Army in the Red Sea. At 400 feet
depth, free-diving using ‘ordinary scuba gear’. They had to be wheels
from Pharaoh’s Army, only the army was allowed to have wheels with five
spokes. Yes, really.

3 discovered that woodpecker’s tongues are anchored in their left nostril.
He discovered this without dissecting even one bird. Anyone who said anything
contradicting him was obviously lying, any pix of dissected birds indicating
otherwise were obviously faked.

Carl was funny. Arlen isn’t. Both are insane.

Then the actual benchmarks show
