first, I would like to thank *Ralph Fox* for the fact that, since the
a good agent since the beginning of 2020, which can also handle UTF-8.
Many thanks(!) to Ralph! :-)

Here in Germany, we use a "QWERTZ keyboard", which also allows
"Umlaute" for our language.

Here is my question:
Is there a possibility to add the German umlauts (see ä, ö, ü, Ä,
Ö, Ü, ß) in the file "cp65001.cod"?

The file "cp65001.cod" tells Agent to use Windows' built-in code page
65001, which already contains ä, ö, ü, Ä, Ö, Ü, ß.

Agent's .COD files come in two kinds:
1) COD files which contain the character mappings. You can add or
modify the mappings for individual characters. The COD file is
limited to at most 256 characters, which is not enough for Unicode.
2) COD files which use a Windows' built-in code page. These COD files
are not limited to 256 characters. It is almost impossible to
add or modify the mappings, because you would have to modify
Windows built-in character mappings.

If typing German umlauts in the compose message body is not working
when the message's language is already set to Unicode, then please
make the following change to Agent's settings. In the font settings
for Unicode, please put a check-mark in the setting "Use the
variable-pitch body font for Headers".

I should have included this in part 4 of the READ-ME file.

Copying and pasting Unicode between Agent and other programs is not
working yet. This is not a problem with the file "cp65001.cod".
More work needs to be done on clipboard handling.

The file "cp65001.cod" tells Agent to use Windows' built-in code page
65001, which already contains German umlauts. The file "cp65001.cod"
will not help with typing, only with displaying.

*This* is the solution to my problems regarding a "QWERTY keyboard"!

Now I can finally use all the umlauts on my keyboard and I don't need
any more tools! :-))

In the RAW view (Ctrl-R), only the headers are taken into account.
However, the body of a message is not displayed "raw".

Do you have a tip for this?
