How do _you_ find your IP address in Android?

To help out in another thread (about Psiphon VPN) today, I needed to test
whether it was a system VPN or just a browser VPN, so I needed my IP
address.

In Termux, I ran this, which works fine:
Termux] curl icanhazip.com

And in Ungoogled Chromium, I went to this address, which works fine:
<https://whatismyipaddress.com>

Curious if there's an app that gets the IP address more easily, I looked:
<https://play.google.com/store/search?q=whatsmyip&c=apps>

That found plenty of apps, such as the following free google-free ones.

Thank you for sharing all the ways you know how to get the IP address.
I knew only about whatismyipaddress but not about any of the others.

Especially I didn't know that the special curl was inside of Android!
And I didn't know that special ican hazip address you used.
How did you find that since it's not documented for Android?

I tried that special curl icanhazip on Windows which also worked.
I didn't know curl was already installed on Windows either.
Must be new as curl and wget didn't used to be native on Windows.

Years ago, as you know, curl had to be added to Windows.
But Microsoft added it about a year or two ago to c:\Windows.

I didn't know Android had it inside of Termux until I tested it.
The icanhazip happens to be the one address that gives that value.

I don't know of any others that give that value so you just have to know it.
