This command used to work, but does not now. Has something changed?

Running Terminal on an iMac running macOS 12.7.

Running zsh. Tried bash. Same result.

Yeah, there is something definitely wrong; I can connect to the console, but nothing happens.

No response to CTRL/P.

Someone will be onsite on Tuesday to power cycle it.

Rob, do you think this is a failing hardware problem or a DoS probing
vulnerability problem ?

Do you have any evidence from the logs to show whether attackers have
found the new SSH port yet ? If not, and if it's not hardware failing,
then that means there's another unknown DoS issue active.
