Just a quick comment:

Is someone trying to sell you beliefs like sweatshirts in a clothing store? If so, you might have noticed people really encouraging you to please "try on" a "belief-sweatshirt," then telling you that you look marvelous in it, and offering you many treats, including sustained compliments for years, if you agree to buy it, leave the store with it, and never take it off. Remember, you are responsible for the nature of logos emblazoned on your sweatshirt, whether you were tricked into buy your belief-sweatshirt by a con artist or not. A simple antidote: Ask yourself, when considering a belief, "What if it's not true? What is the argument against this belief? Am I sure that it's true, and if so, how do I know? What's the rebuttal to the negation of this belief?" Real life fact establishment isn't the exact same thing as math, but it does use the exact same logic as mathematical proofs, however you choose to express that logic.
