Not the same thing...
in fact...
not even close.

That you _think_ it is the same is yet another clear indicator of your low
IQ & sordid lack of even the most basic of understanding of the two systems.

From what I've seen, Google apparently isn't _removing_ apps from the Google
app store; they're just hiding them. It's an obscurity thing, apparently.

A key difference is Apple is _removing_ the apps from the Apple app store.

In addition, Android users can spoof to any device & version they want.
iOS users can't.
<https://i.postimg.cc/SQ2DS1wd/aurora18.jpg> Spoof any device & OS version

Worse, iOS users can never install an app that they didn't _already_ save if
it no longer exists in the app store (whereas, Android users always can
since it doesn't matter whether they've backed it up or not as it's always
backed up by a variety of methods, one of which is it wasn't deleted in the
first place, post install.
<https://i.postimg.cc/V6tyDpNd/aurora17.jpg> Don't delete APKs postinstall

And, there are no alternative repositories of any value for iOS apps.
And, you can't load a free app onto any other device but "in the family."

That makes five huge losses for the iOS user compared to the Android user.
1. Apple removes the IPAs; Google just hides the APKs;
2. iOS owners can't spoof their make/model & OS version; Android users can;
3. iOS users can't post install an app; Android owners _always_ can do that;
4. iOS users can't use any IPA but only the specific IPA built for them;
5. And iOS users have no alternative repo; Android users have plenty.

Besides, the Android owners don't even need a login account to get apps.

Given the laughably archaic stone-age primitive clusterfuck that iOS IPAs
are, it will be interesting to see the basic loss of functionality here.

On the Android side, it will be interesting to see if the various FOSS
Google Play Store clients can still "see" the apps inside the Google Play
repository that the Google Play Store app won't show them.
