That would be nice. I tried once, but there were a ton of dependencies

I tried also. There are too many dependencies that do not port. Have you looked at the latest gmake? It's 4.3.

I sympathize with you, Randall. IIRC, it wouldn't work on a J-Series,
even if we could get all the dependencies, since it used C++11 isms.
