What does it mean to "be over someone's head?"

It doesn't hurt me to say this, because I'll likely be famous one day anyway...the way forward is clear, and it involves getting a sit-down job as a contract C++ programmer and starting a startup on my own, and other than that, waiting for someone to me email me about IP if they're not stupid, and otherwise just letting the bozos miss out.

My definition is: It's "being someone who can make decisions for someone else without consent (or additional consent that would be required) without having to put up with a serious, unpleasant conflict about it." E.g., making the decision to make a psych patient you dislike for whatever reason to have to wait 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time is "trying to be over someone's head."

In general, I would argue that it is unwise for atheists in particular to let non-legal-establishment entities be "over your head." Fight the people who want to play god and take over control of your life and make decisions for you; don't let them steal your freedom, even for ten minutes, without a serious, legally inflicted cost.

The concern is that a lot firms are run by "Dr. Stupid" meets "Dr. Apathy" meets "Dr. Politics"...the idea that strategy is taken seriously at most firms seems laughable to me.

I might try to patent something after all...I will see how "free" I am when it's "over."

I'm still completely innocent, of course. I never deserved this.
