Hi everyone,

I am trying to remember the things I said in the past when I was in more distress. I said I was going to withhold math for a while, and that I was going to try to avoid working in IT due to my anger at me not being hired by some of the top firms and others who could have afforded it.

My plan is thus to just sell some IP for hopefully millions, not publish anything to any journals, and then try to use the ideas I have left to build really good investing software to help me make money as fast as I can via the stock market instead of an industry I see as largely unethical.

I'll publish helpful research someday later when I think it is fair to do so. I would like to see improvements in human rights globally, including in China.

Come to think of it, I might publish B-S-D to get attention so that I can sell IP for more money.

Update: I am going to do the startup. I contemplated the MLB "Beat the Streak" contest, boosting algorithms, and the presence of lots of people who know about boosting algorithms; that convinced me that I can't do the stock prediction idea.

I might still start the startup, if I need to, but to reduce stress while I focus on my health, I've decided to postpone coding it for now...it wouldn't be as stress-free as I thought, I don't think.
