After a recent Upgrade on my Samsung Galaxy A11 smart phone, when I go to
make a telephone call via "Contacts", I am presented with the option to
telephone or text.

Now when I tap on the telephone icon, I see NO immediate response as I
did before the "upgrade". I tap again and again. Then I found out that I
have to wait a second or two before the call starts.

I thought, wouldn't it be nice to hear a "click" sound each time I tap on
something, then I KNOW that my tap was recognized. However, via settings, I
searched for tap sound (to turn on) with NO results!

Does anyone know of a way to get a sound (eg. "click") for each tap?

Or, does anyone know how to get an immediate response when I tap
on the telephone icon when using "Contacts"?

I don't have the Samsung A11. I have an LG V20, so navpaths will
differ. For me to find the tap sound option, I go to settings -> Sound,
and there are several tap sound options: vibrate on tap, dialing keypad
sound, LG Keyboard sound, touch sound. Could be if you usurped the
standard keyboard with some other choice then you have to go into the
options for that alternate keyboard.

Also, there can be separate volumes for different types of sounds. When
I go to settings -> Sound -> Volume, I can select 4 different sound
levels: ringtone, notification, touch feedback & system, and music,
video, games, and other media. Make sure tap volume isn't low or zero.

Hi Vanguard,

I checked all the sound settings. The only sound that was not turned
on was "Samsung Keyboard". I turned it on, but it probably won't work
for tapping on the telephone icon.

BTW,

I am getting use to waiting a second or so to find out if my tap is
calling someone.
