I got a SX55 but it hasn´t any hard disk yet. It has an integrated HD connector with flat cable that comes from a riser card and other end to a HDD. What kind of HDD can be connected to it? I have this: 30 MB IBM ESDI HARD DISK
IBM P/N 38F8294 IBM FRU P/N 38F8298 Model: WLD-330P.
Can this to be connected to my 55 SX? Or what kind of HDD fits to 55 SX´s flat cable connector?

I think the chances of finding a working F2DBA drive are so slim, you
would be better off plugging in a SCSI card and using a SCSI drive.

Yes I can do so. I have a SCSI 2 adapter from my 8595 and some SCSI HDDs.
If I can use this adapter in my 8555 it is best I can do now.
Or buy a McIDE adapter from Mark Malley!
