For those blissfully ignorant [like I was until today], the PIO mode is
the bulk of functionality and the SCB mode is an extension of the PIO mode.

So, the PIO chapter is sehr busy, many tables or register images... Let
me regather my arcane powers before returning to this forlorn hope.
