We seem to be going through a kind of nihilist cultural change
brought on by technology. (Which has nothing to do with Android
vs Apple.) Samsung's "AI" could be called the "Kardashian filter"
or the "Oliver Stone enhancement":
Every photo looks attractive after processing, regardless
of whether it bears any resemblance to the actual subject
photographed.

It's the age of everyone having their own truth, so Samsung
are assuming that their "processing" is desirable. It creates
a more desirable truth. And that truth need only survive the
scrutiny of social media. As Prince Harry put it in defending the
lies in his book:

'Whatever the cause, my memory is my memory, it does what it does, gathers
and curates as it sees fit, and there's just as much truth in what I
remember and how I remember it as there is in so-called objective facts.'
