I was wandering through Speccy, and noticed this:

Name Generic PnP Monitor on AMD Radeon Vega 3 Graphics
Current Resolution 1536x864 pixels
Work Resolution 1536x824 pixels
State Enabled, Primary, Unsafe
Monitor Width 1920
Monitor Height 1080
Monitor BPP 32 bits per pixel
Monitor Frequency 60 Hz
Device \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0

Now I am pretty much up on hardware specs, but I don't understand the sizes
for Current and Work resolution. Shouldn't they be the same as Monitor
Width and Height?

1536x864 is 1.78

1920x1080 is 1.78

So at least the aspect ratios are the same.

Did you, perhaps, set some "scaling" parameter
in Windows somewhere ? Like 125% ?

How tall, in pixels, is the Windows Taskbar?
When you ran Speccy, was the Taskbar hidden or shown?

Current resolution - taskbar height = Working resolution

40 pixels sounds typical for the height of the Taskbar.
