Why are so many attorneys greedy scumbags willing to scam their client
out of as much money as possible?

I hired a law firm to do a simple subpoena, and they filed it against
the wrong legal entity. They refiled it and redownloaded some docs and
tried to charge me for their error - which they claimed was because the
state gave them bad info.

They sent me past due invoices for months. After I emailed them it was
highly unethical and probably illegal to double bill me for their error,
they quit sending past due invoices and started sending yearly Christmas
cards.
