My largest money maker at the time is "password hell".
Folks see a three year old on TV break into the CIA
and think I can break into everything. I am 95%
successful at recovering their passwords.

The Apple ID is a real killer. Windows account passwords
are pretty easy. I hate it when they give defunct phone
numbers and eMail address as their two factor authentication.

I had to fix a password issue on a play station yesterday. Well, after
I fixed his router and installed gMail app
on his android phone (which are getting weirder). Weaved
down the road, hit a few curbs, knocked over a fire hydrate,
flattened a few squires, but I got there.

What??? Okay the squirles MIGHT have been on purpose. I

screen - the place where it's most likely to interfere with what you're
doing.

it's where you're most likely to be looking. an alert is of no use if
you don't notice it, and if it's modal, it will only cause confusion.

there's very little similarity between windows 8 and an iphone.

Let alone obscure the previous popup; not a few softwares pop up three
or four error popups in rapid succession, all on top of each other.

I thought of a way round it: have some universally-accessible two-bit
counter, that softwares that knew about it would access and increment
whenever they needed to generate a popup - generating their popup in the
centre of the relevant _quadrant_ of the screen. (Better, a four-bit
counter [possibly incremented by 5], and 16 parts [quadrants of
quadrants].) Softwares that didn't know about it would continue to
generate their popups in the middle as before.
