Hello,

I wonder what is the correct usage to typeset an exponent in another
base as decimal.

For example in hexadecimal :

3C 4A EE x 16^{15} (where 16 and 15 are decimal numbers)

or
3C 4A EE x 10^{15} (because hexadecimal '10' is decimal '16')

or even
3C 4A EE x 10^{F} (because decimal '15' is hexadecimal 'F')

Thanks in advance for your opinion/knowledge about that.

See Wikipedia on hexadecimal. There is more than one possibility.
