I use SeaMonkey Internet Suite (derived from Mozilla suite) for my
Browser, E-mail and News stuff!

What does a 'Search Client' give me that DDG doesn't??

If you're talking about "Everything," it's completely different from
Duck Duck Go; it searches for files on your drive(s) not the Internet,

It's faster, more efficient, and is easily run from a terminal
which is where I work from most of the time. (I mostly use a GUI
to run multiple terminal emulators.) I'm usually looking for
technical information and do not need or want pretty pictures or
animations bouncing all over the damned place. There is also a
reduced footprint for attacks from a compromised site. (I frankly
prefer gopher or even ftp over http when available.)

Other text-based browsers include elinks and w3m which can frequently
render sites in text mode better than lynx.

That's an INNO installer and you can use "innoextract" on that
(which is available in Linux or bash shell).

It's just faster to stop messing around.

In the Win11 bash shell (in Terminal), I can do

sudo apt install lynx
lynx www.example.com <=== you can pass a URL directly

But the results won't exactly blow your socks off.
It's just the usual ncurses colored text session.
You use the cursor keys to navigate from field to field.

It didn't take me a lot of microseconds to get there.

I have bash shell set up with WSLg, so I can do graphics (if an
application needs it). I run Firefox in that environment,
all the time.
