I think it's likely that the English dictionary is actually UK
English, because all dictionaries - except Afrikaans - are for
European languages:

It has the following English files -

English.cds
English.odic
US English.cds

You can open each one with Notepad and try to discern which is which.

You might just try using some of your own English into a the program
and see how it goes.

It has a very old appearance. It won't even maximise the GUI here.
I certainly wouldn't use it for French; I tried "Je m'appelle Edward"
and it queried "m'appelle".
So I tried "La cigale ayant chanté" and it queried "cigale".

The English is also extremely deficient.
It rejects plural nouns such as "plurals", "comrades", laxatives".
