In KeePass, Tools » Options » Advanced » Auto-Type. (Why Auto-Type is
a button at the bottom, instead of a group within the other advanced
options, I couldn't tell you.)

Thanks. I'm in KeePass (not XC) and in Tools » Options » Advanced.
There are several groups there, including Auto-Type (with no choice of
a hotkey), Auto-Type - Sending (also with no choice of a hotkey) and,
oddly, Advanced (also with no choice of a hotkey).

I also don't see a button at the bottom to set a hotkey.

Are we running the same version? Mine is 2.52 (64-bit).

A web search told me that the "hotkey" I was looking for is called
"Global Autotype," not "hotkey." Its default setting is Ctrl-Alt-A,
and although it can apparently be changed, I still don't see any place
to change it.

At any rate I tried Ctrl-Alt-A, but I couldn't make it work. I get to
the Auto-type entry selection, but selecting the web site didn't seem
to work with most web sites, although it seemed to work with one.

And in KeePassXC, Ctrl-Alt-A didn't do anything.

But it doesn't matter. Now that I little more about how KeePass works
to do this, I've decided that I'm not interested. I think Enpass,
which is what I've been using, is much easier to use. So I'll continue
to use EnPass on the web, and KeePass (KeePassXC, now) as backup to
it, and for non-website passwords.
