Today's game is VAMPYR

I'll give you one guess as to what this game is about!

I played this game a few months ago, and I was not impressed; it was
in almost every respect an underwhelming game. A third-person
role-playing/adventure game, it set you up as a doctor in a
plague-ridden London of the 1920s. Pretty much everything about the
game was anemic; the gameplay was shallow, the role-playing elements
didn't matter much, the world was tiny, and the graphics were
mediocre. Die-hard gothic vampire fans might eke some enjoyment out of
the game, but everyone else would struggle (and even vampire-lovers
might struggle because I never felt like a super-powered
creature-of-the-night. More like an errand boy afraid of alleyway
thugs). The best I can say is that the game worked (mostly, there were
some bugs), but that's such a bare minimum that it's hardly worthy of
praise.

But, you know, don't let that stop you from grabbing it. I mean, free
game, right? And who's to say my opinion in the game is in anyway
justified? You can always try it yourself and prove me wrong.

I will pass even though it's free. It's not my genre. Hey, this is an

I think I will get it. I thought about buying it when it came out but
the reviews were mediocre.

Well, it got medicore reviews because it is a mediocre game. There are
a lot of games that are much worse than this one - you at least get a
working product that mostly provides what it promises - but none of
its various parts - visuals, story, gameplay, combat - are really
satisfying.

But that's the advantage of these free games; you can find out for
yourself without paying a dime. Some of us had to pay cash to discover
these facts...

A game I liked the look of until I read the reviews.
