I have difficulty installing Mageia 9.

I deleted my SSD and formatted it using the partitioning scheme
GPT.

Proceeds the installation of distributions using EFI.

When trying to install Magia 9 by some means I was unsuccessful.

1 - CD -ROM NETINSTALL. I booted the CD in EFI, the process
It starts but I can't connect to my wifi network. The connection by
Cable no longer works since the modem has been knocked down by
one of my cats a few times.

2 - Memory Stick. I copied the iso of Mageia 9 with the dd
command. To the starting the computer with USB appears a
GRUB error screen.

3 - DVD -EM. Using the dd command to write on disk the
process to show insufficient space message.

I can install Mageia 8 in another partition and change the
repositories for magnet 9 beta 1?

The "nonfree" netinstall CD can work with many wifi chips/devices, but
unfortunately not all of them, even some of those that will work with
Mageia once it is installed. If the Mageia 8 netinstall works with your
equipment, then the Mageia 9 netinstall should, as well. If it does work
with Mageia 8 but not with Mageia 9, that is a bug and will need to be
investigated.

I've never created a memory stick with the dd command. I always use the
Isodumper application from the Mageia repositories. If you have a
working Mageia 8 install, I highly recommend you use that to "burn"
Mageia isos to memory sticks. Easy to use and reliable, it will check
the memory stick after burning to verify that it is correct.

There are instructions for that procedure at
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Cauldron. If you go this way, I recommend
that you follow the "specific mirror" instructions, rather than using
"mirrorlist." It's more reliable. The example mirror they give would be
an excellent choice.

restarting the computer stood showing two lines with error messages.

dd if=Mageia-7-Live-Plasma-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sd(x) bs=1M

Check the bios settings to see if iommu can be turned on.

I checked. I changed Auto to Enabled. Unfortunately Cauldron is still
without working.

Try booting with either iommu=soft or iommu=off in the kernel parameters.

If that fails, best to open a bug report. Let the kernel experts figure it out.
Either attach the picture showing the error message or transcribe the text in a
comment for the bug report.

I made a mistake here. I was selected the wired network instead of
the wireless network.

The Netinstall CD behaves in different ways depending on whether it is
a boot in Legacy mode or if it is in the UEFI scheme.

1 - Boot in Legacy Mode. The wireless network works and the entire
installation occurs normally.

2 - Boot in UEFI mode. The installation stops with an error message as
shown attached.

Was Secure Boot disabled? None of the Mageia install isos will boot if
Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS.

My CD/DVD drive is listed in the BIOS as P2:ATAPI and as UEFI:ATAPI.
When I boot through P2:ATAPI everything happens normally until I
choose where Mageia 9 will be installed. After that an error message
appears saying that I need a unit formatted in legacy mode.

Ah, a light begins to dawn. Do you have another install on this
hardware, even on a different hard drive, in legacy mode? Or if you
don't, is the drive you tried to use already partitioned in MBR?

EFI installs require GPT partitioning. MBR won't work. And mixing EFI
and Legacy installs is a big no-no. The Mageia installer won't do it.

Sorry, I got things a bit twisted. I went back and reread the original
post. With that in mind, I'll try again.

The installer DVD is able to detect whether it has been booted in EFI or
legacy. If booted in EFI mode mode, at the top of the first screen you
should see "UEFI" as indicated on the wiki page I linked to above. If
booted in Legacy mode, you shouldn't see that.

If booted in Legacy mode, and you already have a EFI install on the
machine, the installer won't let you install. You have to boot in EFI mode.

FALSE! EFI DOES NOT REQUIRE GPT. Some faulty firmware may require gpt for
the boot drive, but firmware that follows the uefi specifications can use
either MBR or GPT partitioned hard drives.
