My latest attempt to download new book titles on Window 7 no longer
work. Getting message that I must upgrade to latest App (Supported OS:
Windows 10, Windows 8).

Not unexpected but still disappointing.

My old books download and work fine, have you tried downloading a new title?

Yep, new one bought for free a few hours ago and I synched my
Kindle for PC to check just before replying to you the first time.

Thanks Paul, but as I suspected, that version of Kindle is even earlier
than the one I had. In my case, the books that no longer download to my
Win7 were published recently:

January 10, 2023 Mark of the Fool 2
January 24, 2023 Defiance of the Fall 8

Each return the message below when I request them to download to Kindle.

That one does fail to load for me with the same error message you got;

Odd, I reinstalled the program and while it still shows the warning
message, it does seem to download and open the newer titles ... at least
for now.

I downloaded the newer version Brian (above) linked and while it
displays a warning message, it does seem to work for the newer files.

I just got the same problem you did with a kindle I bought for free this
morning.

I just downloaded that latest version of the app from amazon and
that kindle then loaded fine with no error message.

Same version as Brian provided.
