I have the app RadioSure on my Acer laptop. I use it to listen to a local
FM station that streams online. Every so often it starts acting up. If this
were coming over-the-air I would say it was multi-path. The sound starts
putt-putting like a motor boat. If I stop the stream, then restart it, it
goes away for awhile but usually comes back sooner or later. Have any of
you experienced this when listening to streamed radio?

I use RadioSure on multiple PC's and I have noticed the problem you
describe but not very often. I have noticed that on my slower laptop
that it might occur during a anti-virus scan of the hard drive eating
too much of the system.

One thing you might try is to left click on the icon/button on the upper
right area of the RadioSure program. This is the area where it might be
showing you using MP3. Many transmitter sites send the audio stream
using multiple audio encoding methods. If you see say 3 slightly
different methods you can left click and pick one. Some may limit the
sending bandwidth to say 56k, 128k or even 256k. Try a slower link and
see if that helps your music stabilize. Same holds true if a radio site
does not play, try picking one of those other links, if available, and
the site might start working again.
