I'm trying to set up inn 2.6.4. The problem is my NNTP server refuse
connection on external interface. Need help.

"400 NNTP server unavailable. Try later!"

There must a log in syslog or in /var/log/news...

You can also give an IP address if someone here want to test a command to
help you.

I know. Nothing relevant in innd.log and other system logs. I'm on
GNU/Linux with syslog-ng.

Incoming connection impossible - my device have no an external address.

What OS are you using?
Did you create the buffer with the "dd" command indicated in:
https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/software/inn/docs/buffindexed.conf.html
?

.... and if buffindexed still does not work, couldn't you try tradindexed?

Sure, I did. Inn does not accept some of them for unknown reason.
Perhaps a bug, but I do not bother with it cause I switch ovmethod on
ovdb now.
