I know that i can share a keyboard between two computers using Barrier.

But I want to do something similar wit a monitor.

My main machine has two HDMI monitors connected to separate graphics
cards. I woud like to be able to switch one over to my backup machine
on demand.

Are there neat solutions?

TIA

A KVM switch is likely the easiest. They come in various configurations;
I prefer having a mechanical toggle which should work with an OS.

I don't know for what purpose you need this but
to access the screen on my wife's comp, I'm using Remmina

Well, I think remmina is very similary to TigerVNC (see more at
https://tigervnc.org/ ). But, I don't think it is the best solution for
pinnerite.

For me, maybe the solution is to share the screens physiqualy with a
screen switch (KVM switch) - Examples of switch : NEWCARE HDMI Switch 3
in 1 Out or Orei HDMI Multi-Viewer 4x1 Seamless HDMI Switch, it depends
of the needs.

That looks perfect. I didn't want to add more cables and gadgets.
They just collect dust.

Thanks everyone.
