Amazon does seem to be upping its game recently. There are a number of
games there actually worth playing. Of course, it is the
shopping-season, so it might just be a momentary blip and in February
we'll be back to the shovelware Indie titles again.

None of it really benefits me, though, since - obviously - all the
games that interest me are already in my library. Still, you know me;
I never turn my nose up at a freebie, and am always a fan of having a
'backup' option when it comes to digital downloads. You never know
when one storefront will suddenly disappear.

(Of all the games listed, only "Stubbs the Zombie" annoys me, and that
only because I purchased it just a short time ago. I really didn't
expect to see it given away so soon after coming to market. I really
gotta try this 'patience' thing others have recommended).

I've had my eye on Frostpunk some time, It'd be good to get that
one, and I'm always up for a racing game. I'm not seeing either
though!?

Frostpunk and Football Manager interest me. As for Prime games itself, I
wouldn't pay for it as a stand-alone package but when you get it all
bundled in with Prime benefits I think it's relatively good value for money.

One of the things I have found is that sometimes I just don't know what
to play and this used to lead to me going to Steam to pick-up some game
which was dirt cheap. Now I just use Prime for that.

Weird I see 13 total, I claimed them all. 2 were GOG, 1 each of epic and origin.

Journey to the Savage Planet (the other GOG one besides Frost Punk) looks
like it might be interesting.

Tales from Monkey Island games #1-5, wonder if those are good? I remember
having fun especially with the insult fight in the original Monkey Island.

Well I've played about an hour of Frostpunk and so far I like it. It's
very much a city builder but it does have a different feel to it due to
the setting. This isn't conquer all that come before you but let's just
survive.

I just gave this one a try, it's pretty good to begin with. If you like SNL fake ads
there's a bunch of ads in game that are like that. Meat Buddy. The helper computer
is also sassy with just a touch of GladOS. I also was able to choose to play a dog
(dog-man?) who barks and makes various dog noises.

There's a lot of pretty funny stuff right in the beginning, but it starts to wear
into the typical exploration first person puzzle-platformer which I'm not
much of a fan of (ratchet and clank being an exception, but it has more combat.)

I am tempted to keep playing just to find all the weird funny stuff, but I already
uninstalled it due to finding the puzzle platform part annoying.

I'd recommend it if you like SNL humor and fp puzzle-platformers.
