Acording to a report, MS has decided to allow free download of Windows
11 with licenses for home users for 6 months, in a move to promote
working from home. The package will include VPN software.

And what does it mean to include "VPN software" anyway?

Is it like with the mac that it includes protocol clients that few use?
(Many use OpenVPN for example but that doesn't come with the mac, afaik.)

Which protocol is Windows supporting native with a client?

for Win10 Pro (PPTP, L2TP either x.509 or PSK, SSTP or IKEv2) not sure if Win10

History repeats itself. COVID-19 booster shot #2 early after Moderna's was finally approved for those who need it like weak people like old people and me. So far, no side effects like the last 3 (last booster shot was a few days before Halloween 2021) since slammy Thursday 8 AM PDT (have been sleeping & waking up early as an early ant (e.g., passed out after 9:18 PM PDT last night & just woke up b4 3 AM PDT today) so this was perfect). With the past shots, side effects resulted about 12 hrs. l8r 4 a few days. Weird/Odd! Did this shot failed? Also, time 2 move nest again. BTW, April Fool's Day & TGIF! Also, no shot yet (maybe next week). :D

It's probably an April fool's joke, but it's interesting that Win10 even
comes with _any_ VPN clients. I have Win10 pro but I'm using OpenVPN clients
none of which come (AFAIK) native with any common consumer desktop or
smartphone.

Someone tried one in another group, it was a word salad,
and I was too tired to do any sort of time zone conversion
to see if was even remotely close to the "allowed time span".

Now, I did see a three cylinder car, with three exhaust
pipes, so the day wasn't a total waste.
