Or do they really not exist? :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

What would you expect to find, really.

https://i.postimg.cc/HkFZPgVG/Microsoft-Store-Info.gif

In the example I picked, I can find release info on
the manufacturer site, but not on the Microsoft Store.
In fact, if I were to install the Microsoft Store one,
I don't really know what I'd be getting.

And you will notice in the notes, that the item I
selected, doesn't run in Windows 10-S. The horror.

Paul

AIUI, _most_ applications won't work in Windows 10-S, and that
includes any browser that isn't Bing, I mean Edge.

I know that _you_ know how to break out of S mode, Paul, but for the
benefit of anyone who doesn't:

turn-it-off>

in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307>

Neither of these mentions any group policy that might prevent
abandoning S mode. It seems to me that such a thing could well exist,
for the benefit of corporate IT managers who want to limit what desk
jockeys can install. But in a couple of desultory searches I couldn't
turn up anything.
