Today's useless notification: Epic is giving away a free game! This
week it's:

WindBound

So, it looks like an adventure-RPG with the usual survival elements.
The game screams 'Indie' in its appearance and gameplay, so expect a
mix of some interesting ideas with a general lack of polish. Reviews
indicate it's combat isn't the best and it's a bit grindy, and in
general it is an unfinished feel to it. Well, it's free so I'll take
it, but we've seen better offerings from Epic in the past.

You have a week to decide if the game is worth the effort of clicking
on the 'add to library' button.

Ratings aren't great. I think I'll not bother.

I admire your forthrightness and ability to add games to your library
simply based on price. You will go far in this world. ;-)

Thanks for the reminder, I don't ever remember to check any of these
things except twitch/amazon priem, and that's only because I got in the
habit with Warframe since they'd give away free stuff for the game
all the time. I haven't seen anything new for it since I last played
though.
